About Lifestyle Legal
My name is Hilary Jenkins. I have worked in the property law arena in small and medium-sized law firms for more than 20 years, dealing with all aspects of residential and commercial property.
Our Story
As an experienced conveyancer, I understand that property law can be daunting. During my years working in law practices, I found that many clients didn’t have a thorough understanding of the process and were hesitant to ask questions regarding important property law matters that could affect them.
I believed there had to be a better way of doing it. I wanted to use my specialist expertise to untangle the complex world of property law while providing personalised, down-to-earth advice to ensure my clients always felt informed and properly looked after.
Our Story
I created Lifestyle Legal out of a passion for my work and a desire to provide my clients with practical solutions that are easy to understand. As a conveyancer, I pride myself on my approachability and I always provide my clients with honest answers to every question.

Conveyancing Practitioners are registered with and regulated by the New Zealand Society of Conveyancers and are bound by the rules and regulations set out in the Lawyers & Conveyancers Act 2006.
I’m Hilary, the founder and Director of Lifestyle Legal. Nearly all of my working life has been within the property law industry and it’s something I enjoy with a passion – in the ever changing world of property law, keeping up with the latest developments and deciphering it all for our clients so they can have the best experience possible is really a privilege. On the personal front I am born and bred in West Auckland and have a long suffering (he says) husband, two nearly adult (they think) boys and a raft of pets and other animals on our lifestyle block in Henderson Valley where we’ve lived since 2012. In my time away from the office I enjoy hanging out with family and friends and you can often find me around hockey turfs across Auckland cheering loudly from the sidelines and trying not to have to play!

Hi, I'm Louise, I'm a Conveyancing Practitioner and have been working in the legal and conveyancing realm for over 12 years, in small through to large practices, always with a focus in property law. I have a real passion and appreciation for helping buyers with the exciting, yet sometimes overwhelming, process of getting on the property ladder. Having bought my first residential property at a young age I appreciate that it can seem like a pretty daunting process.
I have lived overseas; both in New York and the Philippines, which helped me really appreciate the beauty of New Zealand.
When I'm not living and breathing property, you'll find me spending time with my husband and our two dogs on the farm or in the kitchen trying out some new recipes.

Hi, I’m Michelle. I’m a Legal Executive and have been working in the legal industry for many years, having started my legal career as a receptionist straight out of high school and progressing over the years. Having had experience in a range of fields, I have really found my niche in conveyancing and have had the opportunity to work in both NZ and England in property law. Whether it be purchasing a first home, selling and buying the next property or simply refinancing, I enjoy interacting with clients and being able to help them navigate the conveyancing process to ensure their experience is as seamless as possible. Outside of the office my young family and dog keep me busy, and we enjoy exploring the world from a toddler’s point of view, whether it be at the beach, finding a new playground or going on a bush walk, there’s always a new place to be discovered!
Hi, I'm Angela. I am a Legal Assistant with over 25 years' experience working in law firms, mainly in smaller firms in West Auckland. I enjoy striving hard to achieve the best results for our clients and am passionate about the buying and selling process. In my spare time, I can be found either at the racetrack, supporting my husband's racing hobby, or with my head in a good book or going for long walks in and around Auckland.
Hi, I’m Connor. I am a Legal Assistant & the Trust Account Administrator at Lifestyle Legal Services. I have been handling administrative jobs for Lifestyle Legal since college, and after graduating I took the opportunity to enter the world of conveyancing to develop a further understanding of the legal and financial processes around property.
When I’m not busy tapping away at the keyboard I'm either down at the the hockey turf or spending time with my dog Harley.
